i just idk why they made Smite 2 tbh... and why the gameplay is still so ''FLAT'' Smite would be hillarious game if they will do it like Paragon was. More verticallity and range attacks that goes where you will aim ... not just straight line on ground

@@TacccW Nah you can do either or regardless. The 2 is better for clear level 1 since you can get 6 aoe shots really quick. The 1 is better for invades or counter invades.

@@JR-nh4fi I’d still max the 1 first since it’s better for poke. But honestly, the 2 might be better for damage since you get 9 shots and a chance to crit.

Negative, Smite did the same thing to the Piercing status that they did with Antiheal in Smite 1. Both of those items give you the Piercing status. It doesn't stack fortunately. Now what you CAN do is build both Joutuns and Spear of Desolation for basically resets on your abilities every kill. Not a problem for Cern perse, but if we get a hybrid ADC/assassin in the future it could definitely be an issue.

Unless you have a pretty solid PC you might want to wait. It's still pretty resource intensive and I was disappointed to be getting 30 fps on low settings. Granted I didn't spend a ton of time tweaking because you have to do it during a match

The game performs well on my 7900xt and 5800x3d, the problem though is that it straight crashes to desktop on dx12 and has random stutters on dx11. I think this is an AMD driver problem though so should be fine on nvidia I think. I bought the game mainly for the legacy gems but I've been having fun, it's clearly still in an alpha state though. I've had 1 game where it matchmaked a 4v5 on ranked conquest and a 6v4 somehow on a normal. I had an athena ult that completely glitched out and i've had multiple mordred ults that play the animation for me but no knockup & I've seen a ymir freeze someone in a cc immune ult. It also keeps resetting my sensitivity for some reason. Feels better than smite 1 otherwise though and it'll prob get better when they move to unreal 5, barebones for now though. I doubt you'd have severe buyers remorse for £25.
